BAI grants help to ARaMP for rabbit industry

January 19, 2022

The Department of Agriculture (DA) turned-over a grant of three million pesos to the Association of Rabbit Meat Producers Inc. (ARaMP) on January 14, 2022 at the Aven’s Nature’s Farm compound in Baliuag, Bulacan.

The grant will help fund ARaMP’s Rabbit Multiplier Breeder Farm Project. This project will support the thriving rabbit industry and help the local rabbit raisers of our country. Furthermore, this milestone is a stepping stone to DA Secretary William Dar’s vision of rabbit as a healthy alternative source of meat that can be readily available in the market.

Present in the turnover were Undersecretary for Livestock Dr. William Medrano, BAI OIC Director Dr. Reildrin Morales, DA Regional Field Officer Livestock Coordinator Ms. Elisa Mallari, ARaMP President Dr. Artemio Veneracion, Jr. and Bulacn City Veterinarian Dr. Voltaire Basinang. ###
